Maggie- Owner/Personal Trainer

Hi! I'm Maggie, the owner and personal trainer at Revive Personal Training! I have been a personal trainer for 10 years at a large gym and have over 20,000 hours of personal training experience. My husband and I moved back to Guelph 9 years ago. After the pandemic and having my son Finley, I was inspired to start my own personal training business. I enjoy cottaging, being outdoors, cooking (when there's wine), board games, and spending time with family and friends!

My personal fitness journey began after years of dealing with a bad back injury. I was motivated to learn more about weight lifting and what our bodies need in order to be strong, pain free and to prevent further injury. Disordered eating in my late teens - early 20s and a thyroid disorder are a big part of what sparked my interest in weight management. But all these bumps in the road taught me how being kind to our bodies and how working with them (not against) is the most important!

My passions in this field are women's fitness, fat loss/body recomposition through weight lifting, pre+postpartum, injury prevention/pain free movement, and back health.

Hi, my name is Kailan and I'm a Certified Exercise Physiologist and completed my undergrad in Human Kinetics here at University of Guelph. My love for health and fitness began as a kid, as I competed in soccer, judo and gymnastics. Wanting to build on the wealth of knowledge, while developing skills to the highest standard in the fitness and health industry, I enrolled in a specialized graduate program at Niagara College, titled "Exercise Science for Health and Performance". With the knowledge and skills gained from these two schools, I became a CSEP-Certified Exercise Physiologist!
For the last few years, I've worked on my coaching skills in multiple gyms by training clients 1 on 1 and in group fitness settings. With this experience I help clients work through injury rehab, build confidence in the gym, help women prepare & recover from childbearing, aide in stress management, and guide women in proper nutrition and habit building to help them reach their goals!

My purpose is to help provide my clients with the support, passion, knowledge and skills to work with them in achieving their fitness and lifestyle goals in a way that is safe, challenging and fun!
For my own workouts, I like to strength train, go for runs, do kickboxing, and everything in between. In my spare time, you can catch me hiking, skating, attending concerts or completing a puzzle while watching Law&Order. I'm super excited to be training at Revive and can't wait to work with you!
